About Joe Kelly
Joe Kelly operates one of North America’s and Europe’s largest independent interdealer brokers of commodities as Co-CEO and President of OTC global holdings (OTCGH). They have a leading market position in US Natural Gas Options, Daily Power Options, and US Physical Crude Oil. Joe’s company serves 70 Fortune 500 businesses, over 300 institutional customers, and over 200 commodity delivery sites. After high school, Joe attended Seton Hall University in New Jersey. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance. Joe’s first position after college was working on the floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange with ED&F Man. He learned how to observe macroeconomic trends, gather data and form trade strategies. It didn’t take long for his supervisors to notice his innate abilities. Joe was elevated to the firm’s brokerage desk, where he launched an OTC natural gas brokerage endeavor and became a major trader of natural gas fixed price and options products.
When he isn’t working, Joe spends time with his family and promotes his favorite sport, rugby. After relocating to London with his firm, Joe became intrigued by the game, noting the comparisons between the sport and success in business. Joe’s efforts to boost the popularity of rugby in the United States have been laudable. The Guildford Rugby Club’s Board of Directors has appointed him Chairman in recognition of his contributions to the game. Additionally, he is the head coach of the Houston Sabercats Rugby Club.
